LEARNING METHOD
Our methods in the digital arts do not fall within the traditional boundaries of the curricula, instead they are inclined towards commercial practice and are therefore result led. Typically following a brief given by an industry or media partner, using industry standard software. The students work to a real deadline, utilising creative skills, project management, research, IT and team work. This structure allows for students to identify their aptitude towards key tasks whether they are creative, organisational or technical. The music tuition has a similar perspective; working together in a group, trying out different instruments, building towards performance.
We offer access to courses that usually have high financial barriers to entry, often to those least able to pay.
ENVIRONMENT
A suitable environment is an important aid to learning. The use of up to date hardware with industry standard software is important, but so is the quality of the environment where it is delivered. Rhythm always aims to work in an appropriate and preferably purpose built location.
